My 5 ways for the Gamers!

This Blog article is solely based in my honest opinion.

You registered, downloaded the game and play. You stepped on this virtual world and you hack and slash your foe on the way to the top. But did you ask yourself why are you playing or why do you want to be strong? As we all by human nature we tend to do things because we want to get something. There is always an aim to everything just like a bullet soaring and flying free until it reaches its target.

Every one of us wants to be “something “ inside this virtual community but being that “something” will be easier if you laid out your plan as soon as you started or even think of starting something it is due to the fact that we cannot be successful if you will keep on rushing it. There will be always 5 steps in anything.

Let me say that you already reached your goal. Try to ask yourself “Is it worth it”? “Are you happy with it”? What’s the effect of my virtual success to the real world?

So let me share you the thing that I’ve learned when I watched a certain romantic comedy movie. So I will try to incorporate the idea on being a gamer.
5 Steps on how to be a Successful Gamer.

Goal Settings

From the word it set your own goal!

Example scenario

Do you want to own all of your friends in PK in-game! Do you want them to feel jealous of you because you can own them all? If you say YES then let’s stop this foolishness! You didn’t want to do it because of someone right? You’re doing it for your own good!

Jot down the things that you want to achieve. Do you want to be the best and the strongest PK player in-game? Do wish to acquire all the most coveted and the rarest item in-game? Or you want to be prominent and the most popular ala celebrity player in-game? If you say yes! Good because this is the valid reason! Even if you say I just want to enjoy the game it is still a valid reason. Any reason just for you is valid. Remember that you are doing it for yourself right?

The same as joining this WYDIANS Journal contest! Why you are blogging is it because you want to win the ancient weapons? To be recognized or to be popular, you want to acquire those Laktoreriums so that you can gain some outside the game income or bluntly to kill some time. Constantly remember that the goal must be any reason whether it is good or bad, Positive or Negative but you need to make sure that this is for yourself.

Being a dedicated gamer sometimes deteriorates your healthy or not so healthy lifestyle sometimes you always forget the effect of too much gaming in your body as I said earlier.

Don’t forget that it also applies in real life. For example you are a fat kid and got dumped by your lovey-dovey so you decided to go on a diet and work out. The question is why do you want to do this? Is it because you got dumped by your girlfriend and as for revenge you want to have an uber-hotness mouth watering body packed with the 6 “A” of wonders so that if the person who dumped you saw you by twist on fate. They will be the one to cry and you want them to regret that they set you free. If your answer is No they let’s stop this but if your answer is simply like “You don’t want to wear extra large size shirts anymore” then let’s do this!

And please make sure that your goal is feasible. We’re not doing the 4th installment of Mission Impossible right?

So when will we do this?

Start Now

The million dollar question will be. “When will you start?” A person who really wants to achieve something should start on the day when he thinks for his aim. Not Later, not on the next day or month or definitely years but start now! As the saying goes “The early bird catches the worm” so hurry do what you can do before it’s too late.

No Shortcuts

To be able to be strong you bought as many wydcoins as you can and WATER M party your way up to the peak level. You already reached the highest level in-game? Are you happy? Do you think you miss something? Yes you indeed miss something and that is the feeling of enjoyment of this game. Playing a game doesn’t mean leveling up all your way it also means socializing and discovering the wonders of the game. Think about it “You are high level” but do you know your “Game”?

Just what it literally means there will be no fast lane or express way on what you’re trying to attain. Even though you achieved the thing you want to accomplish as fast as a lightning you will not be happy in the end. Remember that there will be a different feel in things that is made out of your effort and perseverance.

It is wise to do it slowly but surely especially if it is a long term goal. There will be no shortcuts!

Motivate Yourself:

Being motivated gives you a soothing aura that makes play the game healthier. How can I be motivated? Simple, back from the start set your goals for your game. By setting your goals by wanting this and that for example I want to be like him/her, and I want to surpass his/her popularity. I want to be like this, that's the most basic motivation of a certain player. It's up to you if you want to be a Hard Core player or a casual one. What else you can motivate you?

Explore the game by knowing it epic story. Joining Game Events and I do believe that the most popular motivation that the game can give you. Meet new people from the World Wide Web.

There are lots of reasons to motivate you. Everybody is unique that’s why we are called "individual" so basically we have our own set or type of things or perspectives that will motivate us. Motivation isn’t about sacrilege; it’s about how you will accomplish your goals that you created. Without Motivation, your gaming will not survive long.

In a simple explanation try look up to someone pursue yourself to do this be confident and never stop and last but not the least find your inspiration.

And you can always search for some motivational quotes in the inter web not in my blog anyway since this is full of spin off motivational posters.

Be Happy:

As I’ve seen in my previous MMORPG, there’s a warning that playing for long hours is detrimental to health. ¬¬¬¬

We play the game not to be stress but to stress out, so the most important is "Don't make the game affect your mood".

Enjoy yourself by making things brighter and looking at the positive way. You lose today, you may win tomorrow. That's the cycle. What also important is following your own set of goals by your free will. Accomplished Goals makes you happy but it’s up to you, if all the things you’ve done and sacrifice along the way since you start are "Worth it". Don't take the game seriously and don't let it control you. ¬¬¬

Be contented on what you’ve gain as I said in the step 3 “No shortcuts”…

Is it funny that all steps are inter-related to each other.

And who said that i can only blog with those not so motivating motivational at the same time de motivational posters? If i only have a lots of time then my blogging style will be like this....

Instead of suggesting some events or focussing to a certain "community" i choose to focus on the whole gamingsphere in general.

All in all i think this is the best "Thing" that i can contribute to the community not as a WYD player but as a gamer.

A not so PIC SPAM: A Pig Race?!

If failure is an inevitable abstract noun in our human senses well it doesn't in a community managers case of course. Yesterday the CM decided to held a surprise event which it never fails the sleepy gamers to be awaken. A surprise event which newbies and even top ranking players *cough* Myzio *cough* even joined for fun of course. Well if it means delivering the f-u-n or simply catering and bonding with the players, the community managers never fails to do it.

So lets talk about the Pigs. Those shiny little yellowish slash golden high level mounts can become a race material?

So lets start our little Pic Spam.

It all started when CM Dhar and GM Loki started shouting that there will be a test event the most requested event by players a race event but this time the only mounts that is allowed is a pig and a wild boar.

i really wonder what did they eat to conduct and event like that well probably its

A.) Players are keep requesting about this event so they decided to make an unofficial and surprise event about it.

B.) CM Dhar and GM Loki are bored to death that time so they decided to kill time by playing with the players.

C.) This is a test run if the event can be held officially despite of the fact that other characters have an advantage in terms of moving speed.

Well the answer is C according to CM Dhar its a test run.

Notice the picture above that's the starting point and the course will be from Azran town watcher to Armia town!

And the rules will be no teleporting, relocating and no hunting scrolls! the first one to cross the armia's bridge will be the winner.

Since this is just a surprise event. players are not expecting for a prize but still they heart warmingly joined just for fun.

Look at the numbers of participants in Armia town! Well at this point the first one to arrive didn't win empty handed because CM Dhar gave a trophy 1 Laktorerium powders to the winner! even though its just a single laktorerium the fun that the surprise event bring cannot is priceless. PIG RIDERS FTW! and then the real race begin or course number 2 from Armia to Azran ship! and thyrene as the referee. The race started and the first 10 who arrives at thyrene will be the winner.

Even CM Tonbarry whose currently interviewing claire for spotlight decided to made a cameo appearance.

In the end the players are overwhelmed and appreciated the suprise event this shows that the WYD global players is one of the healthy community that can be found in the world of MMORPG.

Well GM and CM's we are looking forward for more community participated events like this!

Eversince the WYDIANS JOURNAL week 4 started. A certain blogger catches my sleeping time span and amusement and who she is? well she nerver know who she is because its a secret that she will never tell. But we all know her with her Alias Gossip WYD!

Fresh idea.. Relation to the current pop culture transformedwarped in a world of blood and gore...

She probably targeting the weekly topic called "WYDIANS GOSSIP" and as far as i observed she possibly targeting the Who's Who in-game? Talk about a residence paparazzi lurking in a character we never know?

Well speaking of her reputation as of now! All of her gossip seems to be true and if i may say. She is one of the prominent player in-game because of her connection.

All in all i enjoyed all of her article and it officialy made my day! I think im an avid reader of her blog already :D

Looking forward to your next entry Gossip WYD and i hope someday i might get SPOTTED! not in a negative way though :P

If anything will go wrong it will! that is according to the murphy's law and with those bugs or simply typo errors then WYD is not an exemption of course the perfect or lets say an ideal online game is still a dream up to now!

Just for an imaginative thought? ever wonder why does the facial feature of some NPC's are so unique? Well for me i just found out the answer.

Its 90 or so days before christmas but every water party have an excemption! So who will gonna be the santa clause is this water party?

The Ice Queen

Ever watched the first installment of Narnia? The Lion The Witch and the Wardrobe? Anyway for awhile lets stop the bloody tax saga of Alia so gore and violence fans i apologize for that.

Anyway my Aloa turned into an Ice Queen yesterday.

See that picture? pure white! ala Tilda Swinton wannabee. for those who do not know the name mentioned was the actress who played the Ice Queen in Narnia. Quite sinister looking.

So what made me decide to copy that look in-game.

1.) i love the color white! even in my previous online game my character wears an elegant white costume. White is the color of purity, innocence .. hey wait the connoation may lead to virginity for those who have "Gifted" mind! XD

2.) Its the S.H.I.E.L.D's official costume color. Pure Silver Enamel from head to toe's just like Albedo or whiteness from Carl Jung's The Alchemy. even wickedness, Norf and our guild master dumptires wear the same colors.

I just wished that the Silver Enamel will color your armros more Silver than Black.

Youve been there but the question is? do you appreciate the beauty of Khersup? Were not playing this game just to play or grind or whatever.

We are also here to experience some sort of Role Playing in-game and in my opinion roleplaying will never be complete without experiencing the ambiance of your world.

So for today im gonna play ala Dora the explorer and tour you to some of my favorite place here in the world of WYD.

Lets head to the highest place in khersup ( probably?) i do not know the exact name of this place but it is located on the right side of Erion. Sometimes you can see some Ancient Creatures and also some 350 quest event merchant lurking around.

Im on the top of the world looking....

Now lets head to the Noatun Deserts...

i really love its tranquility. Clean and Green indeed but becareful with the monsters lurking around. Not to mention those random PK'ers.

Ohh dont you ever try to take a rest underneath those trees.

And for the last stop the Stairways to Kephra's Lair inside the Kehpra's Dungeon.

Dont you ever try to get in here if you do not have some proper weapon and armors to wear.. It is really dangerous as much as dangerous than the desert.

Such as Sinister looking Place.

Thoroughbred Riders?!

Is it me or there is really a new craze in town? Ever since those Shire Horse expired ( rest in peace. yeah w eknow that they are immortals but its only for 3 and 15 days) majority of the people are seen Mountless. Some are wearing the free Steed and some rich kiddies are showing off their Unicorns, Parade Horse's and Fenrir's.

We know that taking care of a mount is really a tough job since it requires a lot of effort + time + golds to be able to ride one. Lets say that youre budget in-game is just enough to keep you alive on dungeons or any place where you train. What you gain is just enough for your survival? But at the same time you want a mount to ride on! Yeah its a fact that you will run too slow if youre not riding one!

Anyway since the Shire Horse is gone.. lets say hello to the Throughbred

What is a Throughbred?

Of course it is a horse! but what makes it different from the other horse?

A.) Its immortal ( yay!) it means you dont need to feed it etc... but it will say ~toodles to you after 30 days.

b.) Looks better than the shire horse. Man he have a cool horn and a metal armor.

c.) It gives better status bonuses than the Shire Horse.

Damage increase 450, magical attack power increase 72%, increase resistance 28]
Every 12:00 a.m., the number of days of the shire's availability will also decrease.

A while ago while doing my everyday Cargo cleaning a mysterious chat appears right before my very eyes..

And guess who i saw? of course its CM Dhar with his favorite "greeting line".

So i didn't waste my time and grab the chance to have some random convo with him.

CM Dhar was really Huge. A really big bad cat with two froggy swords. As far as i remember he is using a Calintz Catwoman ( a monster that can be found in niffleheim ) as his appearance.

I finally joined my first Water M party.. yeah first call me a noob or so or even laugh at me but this is my first time. all i can say is that the experience inside that area are so fast. It feels like a water faucet. imagine gaining at least a million experience in a flash? Thank god we have a boxer.

This is my very first "Fan Fiction" about WYD and its all about my Characters.. Its a bit long but please read.. I will assure you that it will worth your time.. I also submitted it on the WYD Global War Stories Event. I Hope that i won both ^_^.

The Treachery of the Sisters

The winds blows, the thunder roars, the ambience were in darkness and a heavy rain, a scene of an occurring destructive storm. In the Northern part of Noatun, a woman stands and lifting her both hands with her Chaos Jereca. As she stands, energies became to melds into hands and an aura appeared beyond his feet, creating a circle of incantation and then a mixture of reddish, bluish and greenish light shone upon her. Lightning struck and immersed into the melding energies in woman's hands. Noatun Troopers ran towards the kingdom's entrance, wondering who the woman is bringing up the destructive storm. Reaching the entrance, they saw the woman in Mithril attire, her eyes glows bluish energies that looks shedding tears. The Troopers felt terror beyond the Black Foema's presence.

“Magistrate Alia, You’ve been bringing terror into the City!” said by the Captain of the troopers with fear. ”Even though, you are the Magistrate of Noatun, we cannot allow you to bring terror. In Ordeal of the Laws of Khersup, We……”

she added yet interrupted when suddenly Alia stopped, leaving the immersed energies floating her right hand. Yet her eyes glow that proves the energy is still being channeled.

“The Ancient Evil has come and will spawn into the very life of the Kingdom”. Alia said controlling the subtleties of her voice rhetorically.

“Guard your stations, while there is still time. The Minions of the Hidden Ruins will come!” Suddenly, Dark Portals appeared randomly outside the Kingdom. In every portal, Batorero's wielding sword and as well as the Lich Vatama's with fiery scythe's. Attacking every life they see unmercifully.

Panic, fear and rage overwhelmed the Kingdom of Noatun. Noatun Troopers marched to defend the city. But the army is endless.

“Lady Alia, please continue the spell. We humbly seek for thy salvation. Save the Kingdom”.

A trooper said running towards the Alia. As she started to continue her incantation, the Grub Swarms have reached the gates of the kingdom.

“Protect the Lady Alia! Don’t let them intervene!”

The Trooper yelled. Noatun Troopers line up to protect the Black Foema. One by one, they’re falling from the Finer Seamer’ Funner Scyther and Funner Momenter.

“Inferior Mortal, submit in the name of evil and served the Khepra's will!”

malevolently shouted by one of the Lich Crunt. Then a Warp Portal appears in front of battle and hearing female saying words rhetorically.

“Blessed air of Fate!
Come and heed the Call!
Waters of the Tide!
Release thy glorious might”

ch’s felt more powerful.

“Why have to use such darker method?” Calyce a the sister of Alia asked.

“Calyce, my sister. I am power bounded in flesh.”

The Foema replied. Her body glows glaring light and suddenly disappeared.

“Feed the thirst for magic, Lehre. Follow the Rite of Ascension.”

The Foema whispers vanishing in amidst. Alia have flashbacks of events from the past. She and her older sister, Calyce was in the huge room, alone with their Mother.

“My Children, do you why our Family have these Arts of Magic? And why others don’t have it?”

The Matriarch asked. Both didn’t answer for they don’t know the reason why. Keeping their silence, their Mother spokes. She started to explain that Ars Aeterna, which means Arts of Eternity. Have the power to keep them alive eternally and the reason why others, don’t have the Art for it was forgotten into memory and the First Foema obtained this from an ancient artifact. No history has recorded the Lore of the Ars Aeterna. It became the blood-line Ability of the family. The Arts have gifts of immortality with a cost. Sombras Arcanum, embracing the Arcane of Shadows where demonic lore exists and Ars Lumiere where divine lore exists.

“Why it is divided into two?” Calyce curiously asked.

“Our Family has a blood feud in the younger years. Fighting which is superior. Sombras Arcanum are Forbidden spells of alteration, abjuration and illusion and Ars Lumiere, Forbidden spells of invocation, evocation and enchantments. No one, won the due occurred. Yet, my father declared Sombras Arcanum will be our prioritize art.”

Mother answered.

“Alia…..”

Alia’s flashback stopped hearing the Noatun Captain’s voice.

“Yes, Captain” she replied.

The captain kneeled before her.

“Alia, the Port of Coimbra owes you a lot, may the Archangel Khefma see the sacrifice you have done.”

The captain said. Alia tapped the Captain’s shoulder.

“Arise, Captain. Until next we meet.”

Alia opened a scroll and created a warp portal. Alia entered it as well as her sister.

Apparently the Sisters arrived at their destination.

"You are really a great Actress Sister".... Calyce voiced out..

"Do i?" Alia mumbled in herself with a strand of guilt in her consience....

Well for now all i can Say is welcome to "In and Out of the Game" my personal as well as my gaming Blog..
